IELTS on computer vs paper: which should you choose?

IELTS is offered on computer or on paper, and the content, question types and scoring are identical. The differences are practical: computer tests usually have more available dates and faster results, while the Listening timing differs slightly at the end.

Practical differences

•Results: computer results arrive in a few days; paper results take about 13 days.
•Listening: on paper you get 10 minutes to transfer answers; on computer you get about 2 minutes to check, as you type directly.
•Writing: on computer you type and can edit and see a word count; on paper you handwrite.
•Speaking is the same face-to-face interview either way.
